Default Beatrice B. Albert Born May 1901

Please help. Trying to locate any family of this woman. Supposedly she was born a heiress to a millery in England. Found her married in 1945 in Pancras district of Middlesex? to a Tronolone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a marriage in Pancras Registration District in December Quarter 1945: Vol. 1B Page 189

A copy of this marriage certificate would give you quite a lot of information about her, most importantly the name of her father and his occupation which helps to track down earlier generations.

I have sent you a PM

There are no Tronolone births registered in England and Wales between 1945 and 2006.
Beattie died in Jun quarter 1971, Haringey registration district. The only Tronolone death registered in England and Wales between 1945 and 2006.

It would seem that Beatrice/Beattie was a war bride because on one of several passenger lists she is listed as 'dependant of C.P.Tronolone and it gives his ASN (US Army?) number with an address in Buffalo.

The only other reference to Tronolone in the GRO Index is a marriage of a John who also married in 1945, and his wife seems to have been a war bride who also sailed to the US listed as a dependant of her husband, listed with an ASN and an address in Buffalo.

Interestingly the DINAH in this list matches the birth of a DORIS ALBERT who was born in Shoreditch in June Q 1903. A Doris was living with Beatrice in 1945 (#1).

You can now order the marriage certificate for Carmen P Tronolone and Beattie Albert Dec Q 1945.

In your PM you say Carmen died in July 2001 (Buffalo, NY) and Beattie in April 1971. This fits in with Pam’s find in #5 and you can order her death certificate from the GRO.

    Details are:

    Beatrice Tronolone
    District name = Haringey
    Apr-May-Jun, 1971
Volume number: 5B Page number: 2019

The registration index actually gives her date of birth as 6th May 1901 but although the year is wrong I suspect this is because the death was registered by someone who didn’t know her real birth date.

Sorry, that's a mistake - I can't imagine why I wrote that: too early in the morning I guess.

    Her birth appears to be:

    Beattie ALBERT

Birth registered : Shoreditch District, Apr-May-Jun Quarter, 1901. Volume Number: 1C Page Number: 23
