At the moment I am visiting Kingsbridge and staying in Lime Grove. Opposite the house is a wall and tunnel which obviously is some part of the railway.
Does anyone have any photographs of the Railway Station that was demolished, or do you know the route the railway took into Kingbridge. It does look as though there could have been a road through the tunnel. The housing estate and Morrison's supermarket on the corner are relatively knew (well 1970's) so build after the closure.

Good evening Sue,
if you visit the disused-stations web site there is a listing for Kingsbridge and a good write up.

What an excellent website, Geoff. I have just spent a very pleasant half hour having a look at some stations that are no longer around. Thank you.
