Thank you very much MythicalMarian, sadly wrong side of the country. I was hoping she was the wife of William living in Hibaldstow, Lincolnshire. He being a Butcher And Grocer. he died some 30 years before Jane.
Thank you very much for taking time to look for me.

There is one in Hibaldstowe, for a Thomas Drayton, a builder, who died 28 February 1863. Is this the right chap?

That's him Colin, He was buried on March 3rd. I don't know who he left it to though as his wife Sarah had died 3 years previously.
Thank you very very much.

Probate was proved of a will with a Codicil attached in the amount of less than 800 GBP on 5 May 1863. Executors were William Hall of Redbourne, a farmer and Daniel Davis an Innkeeper also of Rebourne. It was then resworn at the Stamp Office in September - value under 1,000 GBP.
Hope this helps

Ah I've just realised something (I'm sure I get thicker by the day) Her name wouldn't have been Jane Drayton when she died. She'd have been Jane Carlisle.
Oh well there's always care in the community *sigh*
