Thankyou stepives,now i have to find out who William Warburton is.I have a feeling he married one of Alonzo's daughters.Off to rummage.

Not one of his daughters but a niece,who married William Arthur Warburton.Off to more rummaging.

William Warburton is the executor of the estate, whilst in this case he may be related it is not always the case, you would need to see the actual will to see who the beneficiaries were.

I have just got back to find it was a niece he was related to.Looks like i will have to get the will.Thought it a bit odd,Alonzo having 5 children,and then leaving his money to an in-law.Mind you there is nothing unusual about who leaves what to who!!!
