Samuel Clarke was sentenced to 6 months in jail, at Belfast winter assizses 1899, anyone know how I can find his prison record? I can find no trace of him after this date, I am trying to find out what became of him after his release, which would have been early 1900. Any help appreciated .....Regards Del.

Have you contacted PRONI (Public Record Office for Northern Ireland)? They hold archives relating to the General Prison Board for Ireland.
