Hi, had a look at Trinity House & LMA, think pilot records at LMA would be worth a search. George's wife was Eleanor and the children I know are John b 1781, Mary b 1784, Eleanor b 1786, Benjamin b 1788. Elizabeth 1791 & Euphemia d 1798 (not sure about her as no parent details, just the same parish church as the others) all born Middlsex parish church St George in the East. When Mary was b address Pennington St, Eleanor & Benjamin b Old Gravel Lane, no details for the others. Mary & Elizabeth both married RN Lieuts, Eleanor and brothers had no naval connections. The name Eleanor was given to one grand daughter of each son & daughter, and so on down the generations. Leatham or Latham was used as a second name in two of the families. Mary m Thomas Hare and all their children are Latham Hare. John m Elizabeth Overton and one of their sons is George Latham Story, and he called a son George Latham too. I thought that Latham may have been the original Eleanor's family name, but no such luck as yet. Mira is another family name that is used a lot too. And to complicate things more cousins married cousins, husbands married sister-in-laws after death of wife and they're all called George or Eleanor !!
