Default Charles MARTIN HMS ACHILLE 1805-1815

My Charles William MARTIN of Magdeburg, Prussia served on HMS ACHILLE at the 1805 Battle of Trafalgar.

Charles was awarded the Boulton's (wealthy businessman) Trafalgar medal but had passed away by the time parliament chose to issue a medal c1840.

His service on HMS ACHILLE took him to far way away places such as Brazil.

Search continues to locate any record of service, pension, etc.
