Default Thomas Jermy - can't find record of death

I am trying to find a record of the death of my Gt Gt Grandfather Thomas Jermy.

Thomas was born on 5th March 1844 in Whitechapel.

I have records of him from the census:

    1861 in Whitechapel
    1891 in Stepney
    1901 in Stepney

He married Mary Ahern in 1871

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Martin

    Hi

I am not aware of any of the family being in Norfolk as they pretty much seem to have stayed in London, mainly the East End.

Also from his birth certificate there is no mention of a middle initial.

There have been a number of variations on the surname in various records though from Jermy, Jermey, Jervey, Germy etc

    How about this one?

Death Dec 1903 St. George in the East 1C 227
    JEREMY Thomas
    Age 56

The registration district is consistent with where the family are living in 1901 and 1911.

It's a possible - I would have to send off for the certificate.

I don't know if he is around on the 1911 census or whether he died between 1901 and 1911

Is anyone able to help with a 1911 census lookup please?

I believe Thomas Jermy's wife Mary died in 1918 in St George in the East - I have just sent off for the death certificate to check.

    Thanks

As a start, if you go to

    www.
    1911census.co.uk

Click on the 'search the 1911 census' link in the top menu bar and then click the 'show advanced fields button. Enter the census ref below and click Search. You will see a listing of all the individuals in the household. At the least, you will be able to see if this is your family.

That is them thanks very much and no Thomas.

So I assume he must have died between the 1901 & 1911 census - unless he was elsewhere in 1911.
