I'm a retired Engineer living in Essex, researching my ancestors who lived in and around Stockton on Tees, Hartlepool and with connections in Newcastle area and Yorks.
We have a family Bible with family entries going back to the beginnig of 19th Century - earliest date given is my G-G-Grandfather, born 1779. There is a good deal after that date but many gaps I would like to fill in.
