    Default Westerham

Can anyone tell me please where (other than Familysearch)I'd find Parish Records for Westerham marriages in 1800+/- 5 yrs?

I have a selection of baptisms 1807 -1812 but cannot find the Parents marriage there. Perhaps they married elsewhere but I'd like to check Westerham first.
I thought it was in the Surrey line as with Bletchingley but not on my C.D.

    Perhaps they moved it later?

Westerham marriages 1559-1837 are in Phillimore, Kent Volume 1.

Also the PRs have been filmed by the Mormons and can be ordered in the usual way.

Thank you Peter, I'm not so able to get to our 'local' Library these days, I really don't want to purchase a C.D. which only MAY include the marriage of Family who are not mine but married into my Family.

May have found a site wheere I can purchase a months lookups.

Jan thank you also, as with my reply to Peter, I did look at the d.download & C.D. but as they don't include areas which I do have Family in or from, I shall have to try elsewhich.

I was there just the other day Jellylegs in my search for all thing E.Grinstead, Forest Row etc. Enjoyed it immensely but am none the wiser.
I should have stuk to my Kent research from the beginning instead of wandering around Surrey/London, but when you get so many goodlinks, it's hard to stop.

It's very likely the Parents were not of Westerham but the only marriage elsewhere I've found was way up north, (where a whole bunch of them seem to originate)

    Sevenoaks library https://www.
    kent.gov.uk/leisure_and_culture/libraries/using_the_library/library_refurbishments/sevenoaks_library.aspx
have local studies stuff for Westerham as well as other places. https://
    shareweb.kent.gov.uk/Documents/leisure-and-culture/libraries/sevenoaks-local-studies-guide.pdf
Page 4; note the transcripts up to 1812 for 'many parishes in the district' in addition to PR films of some places.

As you don't live locally they might do a look up if you ask nicely.

    (I haven't forgotten the look-ups I've promised, but I haven't been to town lately.)

We will head off to the new Kent record office before too long. It opens on 23rd April. If you PM me the details Wendy I will have a ferret around.

Sue, how nice. May I send a Get well to a 'Cousin' who has long been a transcriber of all things KENT & now unwell?
Jean, gently does it my Love, just be you in your own time.x

The answer may well have been passed along already, but confirmation is a wonderful thing.
