    To change the formatting In wordpad.

    Highlight all the text you have pasted to wordpad.
    Click
    Tick 1.0 and untick 'add 10pt space after paragraphs'

    It is still a pain!

    Back from brekky, I see my last post didn't get posted. Must have been hungry.
    thank you Mutley I've now copy/pasted your help line into my file tho' my error I meant to type NOTEPAD no word pad. I think I may quit notepad & go to wordpad. I shall miss it.
