Have you obtained copies of the wills of James Hudson, Richard Stainforth and Emily Stainforth? Did Emily express any preference for where she should be buried?

    No other clues?

Hi Peter I have obtained the wills of both James and Emily and Richard. Richard stainforth bequested to his daughters only he died in 1905. Emily bequested to her daughters, she died in 1819 no other information. James bequested to his wife Florence in 1912 and this was quite a sum for then. The one thing that comes to mind is that when Emily was buried someone must have known what was going on as the gravestone must have been placed after 1919, hence the engravings on the kerbstones. Also James wife Florence placed her only son Owen in the Wolverhampton School in 1915 and left for Bexhill on Sea to become a governess even though she had money to live on. Just seems strange, any input would be greatly appreciated.
