so how do you put your tree together? organise your files, photos etc? I have seen some amazing trees on ancestry will all sorts of info and bits added. Anyone want to share theirs so I can be very jealous?

Hello Alicat,
Well, there is no set answer to this question. Some people have scraps of paper all over the show, others have folders and files and yet more use genealogy software. You need to operate the system(s) that suit you.
I have some genealogy software plus ring binders and box files that are dedicated to each surname.
Have a read of this and click on the links to get a feel for what is out there.
But whichever system you decide upon, take it one step at a time and you will be able to see your research grow in a logical - but interesting way.
