    Default Researching my father

    I am busy researching my father.
    He died in 1957 and there are no living relatives of his generation.
    This means I am having to tracel records and do a lot of groping about in the hope of finding something..
    I am a beginner and need all the help I can get.
    Some of the records I would like to access are apparently restricted.
    An added complication is that some official records pertaining to him show him as having two different names!
