Default Any Help Would be Appreciated

I just stumbled upon this forum this morning and by reading previous posts, it appears I may be able to obtain some information on one of my great-greats who worked as a railway "platelayer".

William Griffiths, born in and around 1830 in Hopesay, Shropshire, was listed as a railway platelayer on his 29 Apr 1890 death certificate. From Census records, it appears he lived in and around railway tracks for many years....Halford and Hopesay.

Any information/direction to help me continue researching this aspect of William's life would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Dan
