We are trying to find out when George arrived in Australia and the ship that took him there.
This is the info we have:-
Born 1833 Barnopfield, County Durham,
1851 Census living in Monkweirmouth, Co Durham
1866 Married Agnes Berry in Bendingo, Victoria, Australia. This was Agnes second marriage her first was to George Ormrod died 1865 Bendingo.
So between 1851 & 1866 sailed to Australia. I have family still living in Bendingo and they have not been able to find through the Australian records any arrival details.
Can anyone help please?

We have found a cutting in a Melbourne newspaper, It is from the Equity office and it says that “in July 1886 probate of the will of George Hudson was granted for Two Hundred and Fifty four pound”. So this finally gives us a bit of an idea of his financial status when he passed away in December 1885.

Have you obtained his Death Certificate? Victorian certificates of that time often stated how long in the colonies (to the best of the informants knowledge of course) which could narrow things down.
The Victorian PRO has shipping indexes online however i can see nothing obvious. He may have arrived in another state and come overland to Victoria.
