    Default Savill in Debden registers

Could you please look up the Debden registers for a baptism of Jonathan Savil /Savill/Savell/Saville b abt 1829.

Also seeking parents names. Any marriages or death for the Savil variations for Debden that may be a help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Spinifex,
Are you asking your question based on the submitted entries on the IGI?
If so, forget them. Submitted entries with just a year and a place are notoriously unreliable. Submitted entries with a day/month/year and place are usually proof that the entry has been found in the parish register.

Have you found Jonathan on a census? If so, what does he give as his place of birth? Does his age approximate to his being born in 1829?
If you haven't found Jonathan on a census, what proof do you have that he was born in Debden? (e.g. You may have an Australian document which states Debden.)
Bear in mind that people usually remember the first place they remember living in, which is not always the same place as they were born. And to further complicate matters, being born in a place doesn't guarantee that people are baptised there. I've seen several instances where people born in London have been baptised over a hundred miles away.

    Default Savill in Debden Registers

I have Jonathan Savill with his wife and son on the 1851 census claiming to be born at Debden Essex and is 22 years of age. They are living at Saffron Walden. Mary Hannah is from Strethall and their son James is born at Saffron Walden. I have his birth certificate.

His wife Mary Hannah Penning dies and he remarries.

In the 1871 census he again states he is born at Debden Essex and is 42 years of age. Jonathan, Ruth and children are living at West Ham Essex and he is an unemployed dock labourer.

He dies 2 July 1878 in the Union Workhouse Leytonstone. I have this certificate.

There are a lot of Savill's living at Saffron Walden.

Sounds like you haven't got the marriage certificate

    Marriages Dec 1848
SAVELL Jonathan Saffron Walden 12 519

You need the marriage certificate for his father's name.
