As many of you with Cornish ancestors know, when the new FamilySearch site was in its beta or pilot stage they provided images of many old parish registers from Cornwall which were subsequently removed. Over the past year, some new register images have been added, but far fewer than before, and generally only covering post-1837 events. It now appears that the 'missing' registers are now back on the site, after an absence of 16 months or thereabouts. The images are not indexed as far as I know, but between the IGI and the Cornwall OPC database, I've been able to track down most of my ancestors in those parishes which are available for viewing. This is so exciting - an opportunity to view primary sources online, especially for those of us who live too far away to visit county record offices.
