    Default simmons baptism

I have a William Henry Simmons who married Elizabeth Prisk in 1860 St Hilary. On the 1871 census in wales they have William born in St Just 1843. William's father was William a miner. Can someone find him on the 1851 census and baptism record please.

    Just to mention...

There is also a later baptism on the Cornwall OPC for a William SIMMENS. Baptism was on the 20 Jun 1847 at St. Just in Penwith. Parents William (a miner) and Anne. Residence Bojewyan. William was 5 or 6 years old, thus born abt. 1841/42

This family appear to be in the 1851 census still living at Bojewyan.

Hmm! However, on checking the 1861 census...

...it looks as if we have to rule this William out as he is still with his parents and is unmarried, whereas your William is living with his wife Elizabeth in 1861 (RG 9; Piece: 1587; Folio: 34; Page: 6).
