I always struggle with these.

source film number: 1545132


1545132 is the Archdeaconry of Norfolk Bishops Transcripts.
Having looked at the image section there are no 1696-7 on Familysearch - do they exist?
Anyone any idea Where in Norfolk this baptism might have taken place?

I found some :-)

Click on Europe in the Browse by Location Section

Scroll down to England Norfolk Archdeacon's Transcripts 1600-1812 and click on it

Click on brows through n images

Click on Norfolk

You then have a choice of Norwich, Norwich St Mary in the Marsh and St Luke or Norwich St Paul

I had a quick look at Norwich and chose the years 1696-1697

You have to go through the images one by one as it covers all events and for a number of churches in Norwich.

Thanks for the responses - Copper as this is a BT not an AT I suspect it is in mid or West Norfolk so at the moment don't think it is in Norwich.
Sadly pattenwalsh the website you give has caused my internet connection to freeze a dozen times - and the find facility just causes a double freeze. Oh well all good fun....

Lol and most of the 1696 baptisms on I03982 are on freereg except mine...

Sorry about that.It's such a large database that if your running a slow connection then it takes ages to load and you can't do anything else till it loads.
Anyhow did a search and found batch 1039826 and unfortunately it is just listed as Norwich.

Having failed miserably to find this record myself I put a request in to Familysearch photoduplication service.
The result:

The year requested, 1696, is missing on the film 1545132. Two people have looked and cannot find it on the film.

Not sure if this helps but, Film 1545132 is indexed as:-

Perhaps the Film you need has been numbered incorrectly on the entry in question.

I can only suggest checking for other entries around that time and seeing if a different Film number shows up.

The information must have come from somewhere!
