Waiting for a certificate from the GRO

I ordered a marriage certificate from the GRO online, on the 12th December.

I got the usual WorldPlay acknowledgement email that day, but nothing from the GRO; I'm sure i used to get an email confirmation from them too when I've ordered in the past?

Am I going mad? Does this suggest I may not get the certificate as I've messed up my ordering info?

I ordered one yesterday and the GRO email was timed 12 seconds after the Worldpay one!

Yes but no luck. I haven't accidentally deleted either...

Just 'phoned the GRO (which, you could argue, I should've done in the first place!), and the very helpful lady confirmed it's been dispatched and is on the way.

Had exactly the same happen here on the same date,but didn't phone and cert arrived this morning.I think the GRO may have had a glitch in the system at the time.

I have never had an email from GRO saying my cert is on the way ?? The only email I receive from them is a refund message.

Of all the certificates I've ordered, this is the first time I've not had 2 emails, one from WordPay and one from the GRO. To clarify, the GRO email is just a confirmation the order was received, not that the certificate's on its way.

Ordered a Death certificate on Tues Evening 20th December. Despatch date 28th December. Certificate arrived today 23rd December!! Now thats what I call service! (Also got 2 emails at time of order one from Wordpay & one from GRO).
