Looking for new leads

Hello,
I am a Canadian and have been researching my husband's and my family history for about 10 years. I have four great grandparents from England, two from Ireland, and two from the U.S. (--haven't yet been able to trace them back to Europe). My biggest brick wall is trying to locate where two of my great grandparents were married and where they came from in England. I am hoping that I might be able to connect with some people on this site who can help me break through this brick wall.

The members on this site are extremely helpful, very willing to give you tips on obscure sources, and some even offer to do on-the-ground research in Britain.

Just find the relevant sub-forum, and find a title for your message that captures the gist of the problem, and then share all you've found so far. You'll find members leaping to help solve your puzzles!
