I have been researching both parent history for a while.Dad was born in Walthamstow and his family was from Essex back at least 150 years.Surname is Watts. His family was from Moreton, High Ongar and surrounding villages. His mother was a Moore from a similar area of Essex. Its hard finding a lot of info from the other side of the world and I could use all the help any one can give me.

Hello Watties and welcome,
The introduce yourself section of the forum is not really for research queries. You could try posting a query on our Essex section and hopefully we will be able to assist.

welcome to this wonderful forum - from another Kiwi.
As previous posters have mentioned, you'll find many marvellous people willing to help you with queries even though we are on the other side of the world.
How about editing your location to show whereabouts in NZ you live?
