hello all
my name is jan
I have been researching my tree (and hubbys) for 12/13 yrs
I started with my grandad on my dads side lol and still have not found his date of birth but somehow i got hooked
I ended up doing hubbys tree as well as my mums family
my mother in law is also an addict in summer we go for days out looking at graves -that sounds wrong in so many ways -but i guess others will understand
I have 2 children 8 grandchildren
and a hubby who listens when i rant at my tree then asks if i need a coffee

Hi Jan and welcome to BG.

I love looking round graveyards with pen and paper in hand - hubby and daughter join in but under pressure from me!
I'm currently looking at the index at Archives for one of our nearby Churchyards and it's so sad to see how many are in unmarked, dirt mound graves, particularly young babies/children. So hubby now has the job of making 'markers' for any of our relatives we find in unmarked graves.
