    If that helps.
Anyway. Mary Cosnett married Walter William Coombe in Worcester. 4th qtr 1886.
Albert Cosnett is their Stepson and he was born in London abt 1884 and dies in Oldham in 1944.
Not sure about the conection between Mary and Albert, he may have been a little un expected gift.
    Cheers

I'm puzzled since I see them in the census

Thanks. Apart from being a help, it's a requirement to post the full census reference, in order to comply with TNA's limited licence on the re-use of census data, as explained here.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

Albert is described as a son and Susan is a neice. So now to sort out who belongs to who.
    Cheers Dave
I am sort of relieved to hear that, as my mum told me that she thought her mum ( Susan B 1898 ) had been sent to live with an aunt and uncle when she was young - but no details or reasons are known.
Can anyone please confirm who the father and mother is of Herbert Cosnett who married Margaret Dolphin
I am fairly certain I have Margaret's parents being Thomas and Mary Dolphin of Pershore

    Many thanks again

    Hi Nev.
Well we are now in an area that is about the same for me as it is for you.
I can see that it looks like Johns father was also a John and his mother was an Ann, b 1804. Broadway.Worc.
    1851 HO107/2045. Folio 255 page 44.
Who their parents were is down to what ever info is available on the net. There may be a chance that someone else has access that I do not have.
    Cheers
    Dave.

Hi I have just come across this thread of information about the Cosnett family. I was wondering if any of you have come across the name Violet Ann Cosnett born 22 May 1895. She was my grandmother but we can't find any information about her at all. Apparently her parents were killed in an Automobile accident and she lived with her Uncle and Aunt. Her Uncle was shipped off to the Boer War 1899-1902 and he was killed in South Africa.
I would be grateful if anyone could throw some light on this name for me. I have tried all Births offices and I can't find any record of this lady at all.
