    Hi John
You have exhausted the usual lines. So have you traced Robert through the census.
Perhaps you can give us a census reference so that we can get on track.
Do you have a marriage ?
    Children?
    Siblings?
    Occupation?

    I can add 1861: RG09: Piece:2751: Folio:58: Page:45
Where Betsey is a widow so Robert b1820 died between 1856 and the 1861 census.

Yes mate , thank you very much, I know Robert was living with Betsey and her parents for a period but then he seems to dissappear.
in the next census. Is it possible to pin point his actual birth place, town or street ? Can his birth parents be confirmed, I tried to make an educated guess as to his mother, Where abouts did they marry (Live) both there bmd, what did dad do for a living. How can I find out where Robert Bertram James was buried. Im sorry so many questions.

    Thanks again.
    John

Yes that is correct that is what I have, I have there children, even his son becoming head of the household Benjamin, it is difficult for me to get the right mum & dad and even there BMD.
I would like to know exactly what his dads occupation was.
    Thanks again

    Hi John
Olliecat on post 4 has found what looks like the correct marriage.
Father is Edward and if you can order the marriage certificate Sep qtr. 1841 ref: Prescot 20 643
    from: https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/
it should give you the following info:
    Father's occupation.
Groom's age to find his birth on parish records on familysearch.org
Note: Age shown on 1841 census will not be accurate.

    I can add 1861: RG09: Piece:2751: Folio:58: Page:45
Where Betsey is a widow so Robert b1820 died between 1856 and the 1861 census.
And from what you have suggested Betsey possibly died or remarried between 1861 and 1871
