    Default Wakefield Archives

I've just found a reference to a Will on a Calderdale web site which states it's recorded at Wakefield Archives. Would I be able to view it and make a copy if I made a trip there?

If you have a reference, Wakefield Archives may be able to send you a copy. See the website or phone to discuss. However, with regard to the Wakefield copies, the book Probate Jurisdictions says "the usefulness...varies considerably. Some are very full summaries, others are only brief extracts".

The Borthwick is probably the better bet.
