    Default Clark or Clarke

Is anyone researching Clark or Clarke from Dublin, Ireland?

My great-great grandfather, Michael Clark was born in Dublin 1808. I found a baptism for Michael 11 July 1808 at St. Michan. Parents of this Michael are Petri Clarke and Brigida Finigan.
Any background information on Petri and Brigida would be greatly appreciated!
My Michael married Rachael Smith 24 Aug 1832 in Peoria County, IL, USA
    Thank you!

    Hi Bonnie

I can't tell you anything specific about your ancestors, I'm afraid, but can tell you that 'Petri' and 'Brigida' are Latin forms of names (typically used in Roman Catholic registers). In everyday life these two would have been called Peter and Bridget.
