    Default LOTTIE STELLWAGEN & ISIDOR BARCZINSKY

    As a follow up to the Barczinsky posting and data on the marriage of Isidore ( adopted the name John) to Lottie Stellwagen. I suspect Lottie is the daughter of Edward and Sarah J Stellwagen. Edward appears in the 1841 and later American census. In 1850 he is called Edward Stilwagon and a traveller with his wife Sarah J and son Charles .In 1861 he is in Philadelphia as a watchmaker with daughters Kate and Mary. In 1880 he is in Mongomery Pennyslvania with daughters including Lottie 18 Schoolteacher ( Kindergarten). By 1900 Sarah is a widow and living with her son Edward in Montgomery Pennyslvania and Lottie age 39 School teacher.
    John and Lottie did not have any children so I am speculating that Lottie is the daughter of Edward and Stella.Lottie was born circa 1861 Philadelphia.
