Default Looking for Info on Deacon family.

Happy New Year to All !!
I've been away from the forum for a while but am now back with renewed vigor !

I am researching my wifes line (DEACON) and am at a fairly early stage. I'm reasonably happy with later stages of the tree due to living relatives and checks with BMD.
Earlier stuff is from Ancestory but there seem to be conflicting info.

Can anybody help to confirm my info from church records / parish records?
This is what I have so far - It may not of course be correct :-

John Deacon B 1780 Ripe Sussex Married Elizabeth Kingsman B circa 1781
    I
Edward Deacon B 1811 Laughton Sussex Married (Q3 1839) Fanny Terry B 1820 Wiston Sussex
    I
Edward Deacon B 1843 Mayfield Sussex Married Ellen Ticehurst B 1845 Mayfield Sussex
    I
Charles Walter Deacon B 1889 Pembury Kent Married (1910) Elizabeth Kerwin B 1891 Wadhurst Sussex

    Thanks for any help.
    Regards,
    I

I'm not sure which part of your tree you wish to start with if you are happy with some of the later stages - however to start this off and working backwards ...

I see Charles Walter Deacon in the following census..

    1911: RG14PN4099 RG78PN158 RD50 SD3 ED7 SN117
Charles Walter Deacon in Tonbridge with his wife and child

    1901: RG13 Piece: 760 Folio: 106 Page: 24
Charles W Deacon in Tonbridge with his mother Ellen and sibling. Born abt 1889 in Pembury, Kent

    1891: RG12 Piece: 682 Folio: 37 Page: 4
Charles Deacon in Tunbridge with his parents Edward and Ellen and siblings. Born abt 1889 in Pembury, Kent

Pausing here I would ask do you have Charles Walter Deacon's birth certificate to confirm his mother's maiden name?

    Births Mar 1889 Tunbridge 2a 713
    Deacon Charles Walter

    Thanks Olliecat,
You are right, the marriage certifice for Edward Deacon & Ellen Ticehurst would confirm both fathers names.
I'll order that up and check back when I have the details.
    regards,

Yes, do let us know. I think I saw some conflicting information on Edward Deacon on some ANC trees.
