Default Thomas Edward Lethbridge b1899 Chelsea

Parents: Albert Robert William Lethbridge & Louisa Jane McGratten.
I have the birth entry for Thomas Dec qtr 1899. Not the exact date.
I have him in the 1911 census age 11
Looks like he married Alice M Johnson in Jun qtr 1921. Orsett.

How do I find there children (possibly still living)
    Can't find Thomas's death

    Any help gratefully received

    Richard

Try searching FMP births using information you have.
I found 5 possible for Chelsea and 1 possible for Orsett.

    Can't find Thomas's death
    1976 Mar Maidstone 16 1642

I would obtain first obtain the birth certificate to ascertain the date of birth and then, if the details correspond, the death certificate and probate details and take it from there. It's much easier to work backwards. You may need the marriage certificate as well but I assume this isn't an ancestor.

Thanks Gasser but I can't find FMP without subscribing and I can't do that at the moment.

    Have a good one

    Many thanks Peter
    I'll check it out.
Yes, it is an ancestor but a side branch (brother of grandmother) that I wanted to find the family members that will bring hat branch up to date.
I have taken this line back as far as I feel I want to.

    Thanks again

You have a different definition of "ancestor" from mine

If this is more than a passing interest, you'll obviously want to get all appropriate certificates and not rely on guesswork.

The GRO birth index transcription on Ancestry probably provides similar facilities to FMP and you may be able to access Ancestry free of charge at your local library

    Not at all Peter.
My definition is the same as yours but I have to prioritise my spending and my time.
    There is no guesswork investment.

Thanks for your help and advise.

I don't subscribe to FMP but was able to find the 'possibles' with the information you provided - at least it could give you some names to check.
All the best for Christmas and New Year,
    cheers!
