Hello again Adele, We have got the certs for the above entries and they are correct. Ronnie is thrilled. We think its unlikely that Lilian had any children with Charles McMurray because she was 46 at the marriage so we're going to concentrate on trying to find any children of Lilian and Jack Reddings marriage. Is it possible to find out somehow if Jack and Lilian were divorced or maybe Jack just died.

This is great news! Given that she uses her maiden name on the marriage certificate, what is her status on marriage certificate (spinster/widow etc)?

Its spinster thats what made me think she may have divorced. Her father is named as John Gardner deceased which is also correct

It doesn't look as though Lilian had any more children after Ronnies mother was born in 1920. I've searched for childen under Gardner/Redding, Gardner/ McMurray and Redding McMurray but nothing. At least we know what happened to Lilian towards the end of her life.
