    Default Joseph Gunstone

I have 2 photos on my computer which I now have no recollection of where they came from - poor record keeping I'm afraid. They are at https://picasaweb.google.co.uk/valgoddard/Genealogy# . Could someone with expertise in these areas give me any information - date, etc - possibly Canadian Expeditionary force??

The guy I'm interested in is centre row left, and on right in the photo with only 2 guys.

    Thanks

Canadian Expeditionary Force attestation papers are available free at the Library & Archives Canada website.

There is only one man by this name, a Joseph Alfred Gunstone. Here is the image of the front of his attestation paper:

He's not on the Canadian Virtual War Memorial website, so he did survive WW1.

Thanks - I had in fact found the attestation papers. What I was looking for was some confirmation that the man in the picture is actually Joseph Alfred Gunstone - are the uniforms right for Canadian Expeditionary force??
