    Default Birth in Austria?

    Bit startled at recent discovery one of my folks was born in Austria in 1914.

    Any tips please on obtaining the relevant (Austrian) birth cert? i.e. do they have a GRO and/or TNA like ours where I can make the first step of enquiry?
