    You know i must be having a senior moment as i can't seem to find William Wiles Born about 1846 Wisbech but living in Middlesbrough in the 1881 census. What did you put in to find him in the first place. ?

    It's o.k i've found William on the 1871 Census exactly where you said. Although i'm not sure he is my William as looking at the births there was a William born about 1847 1851 and 1850 Apart from my William born about 1846. Thanks for the help.

    It is my maternal Grandma, Violet Annie Springett - unfortunately she died when I was 8. She and my grandad, who died a couple of years later, lived with us, so I do have memories of both of them.
