    Hi Eileen,

I have moved this from the Problems navigating Brit-Gen section of the forum to the Lancashire section.

Ancestry has a public tree for Elizabeth Sixsmith born c1817 in Bolton & married to Thomas Tudor Haslam on 25 July 1836. It shows children as being John born c1841, Sarah c1843, Joseph c1844, Margt c1846, Henry c1848 and Edmond c1851. This appears to have been obtained from the 1851 census at reference HO107; Piece: 2209; Folio: 267; Page: 21

Thank you so much, it's an improvement on what I had, which was nothing. However it just probably dashed my hopes as I really wanted a daughter Ann who I was hoping was my Gt.Gt.Grandmother (I think). At least is something either to follow or to discount, 1 more thing to think about.
I'm very grateful and you certainly haven't lost me as a researcher of my past.

    Talking Haslem and Sixsmith

    Hi Wendy
I'm sorry I can't help you as that line that I thought was correct was not anything to do with my ancestry.
terrysfamily pointed me in the right direction.
We had a lot of problems with your grandparents line before we were diverted, the Haslem line was blocked for some reason.
    Good luck with your search.
