    OK - I guess I don't know when to give up !

    Kent has an online parish clerk website. Google "Kent online parish clerk"
    Click on < Parish List> along the top, then on <F> for Farningham, then click on <Farningham>. Scroll down - William Gibsons [sic] blacksmith shop is mentioned in the Tithe Appointment c 1830 records. There may be other cool stuff & also something under Dartford. Happy hunting.
