My ancestor John is shown in the 1911 Census living at Ottery St Mary and is listed as a physician and surgeon. He is living there with his wife Florence Maria (maiden name not known) and there are no children
Can anyone obtain any more recent information about them after the census. Did they have any children--when did they die?
Thanks

John Alfred William Ponton of Amen Court, Ottery St Mary, Devon, gained his surgical degree in 1908 from University of Dublin.
So very possibly he married in Ireland.

1911 census says married under one year, so maybe check out the Irish Civil Registration Index.
