For researchers interested in the family links between the Davis lines and Moses Angel and the Crawcour families here is further information:
Sarah Payne Angel daughter of Rebecca Godfrey ( parents Godfrey Levy/Levy Godfrey and Sarah Crawcour) and Moses Angel married Rufus A Davis in 1865. Rufus was the son of David Davis and had lived in Peru. Rufus died 24 Sept 1867 in Lima Peru. The children of Sarah and Rufus were Angel David Davis b 1866 and Rufus Davis b 1867- Rufus in 1881 was living at 12 Randolph Crescent.
Ann Crawcour b abt 1800 was married to David Davis ( son of Moshe Davis)- their son Isaac Davis b abt 1823 married Isabella Russell.
Harriet Crawcour was married first to ? Harris and second to David Davis and their child was Racheal Davies b abt 1838- the last name appears to have changed.
Doreen Berger in her 1861-70 volume The Jewish Victorian. Genealogical Information from the Jewish Newspapers
cites the family connections between Rufus A Davis which include his sister Esther Davis, Phoebe Davis sister, William L Miller brother in law, Henry L Miller brother in law, Ida Woolf sister in law, John D Myers brother in law , Moses Angel father in law.
Other Davis lines include Godfrey Cohen marrying Myra Davis in 1932 St Kilda ( daughter of Abraham Davis and Sarah Visbord).
