Trying to find parental family history info on William Rickford Collett former MP for Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire about 1885. Can anyone help?

On Google Books, there is a digital book titled "Cases in the Court of Common Pleas and Exchequer Chamber", published in 1839, which describes a will in which a William Rickford Collett is the son of Ebenezer John Collett.

On HALS Online Index hertsdirect.org/libsleisure/heritage1/HALS/ , there is mention of miscellaneous papers relating to the COLLETT family of Hemel Hempstead plus a newspaper extract dated 16 November 1833 "The remains of E J COLLETT .... Funeral of MP" - might be worth contacting them by email.

Have you come across the Hertfordshire-genealogy site(.co.uk) - it has an interesting and informative page re the Collett family - there is a link on its home page for changes 22nd Feb of which the Collett link is top.
