John Weston born Bishampton Worcestershire 1826,son of William and Sarah, on the 1861 census I have found him listed as jno Weston and resident in the Royal marines garrison infirmary Woolwich any more info on him would be appreciated.

The NA Catalogue does list the Attestation papers for a John Weston who looks as if he could be your man:

Follow that through to the catalogue entry and then go to the top level catalogue entry for the series ie look at the line that reads "ADM 157 Admiralty: Royal Marines: Attestation Forms" and click on "ADM 157"
