I am researching my great grandfather's family. He was Edward George Stadward, born Hartford in 1848. His father was George Stadward who married Sarah Sannsom in Hartford on Feb 17th 1840. However, on Edward George's birth certificate his mother's maiden name is Sarah Maddison. I have not been able to find a death for Sarah Sannson and am at a loss to understand what happened. There were 3 older children but I do not have their birth certificates. Any help would be very welcome.
