Hi
I am trying to find out more about a Thomas Hills b1801 at Bexleyheath Kent who lived in Hogs Hole Cottages Bexleyheath in 1845
I know his occupation was a Carrier and he is in the Post Office Directory for Kent 1845
What i want to know is where are these directories and how do you access them if you can

Parish Chest has a lot of directories for Kent, the main once being Pigots in the early days. You may find this one to be quite useful.

There is a mention of the cottages on the Bexley Council site as well as your Thomas. It lists owners and occupiers.
It also seems he did not live there long.
