    Default census street search

Does anyone know if one can just do a street search, instead of a name search, on the ancestry website for England 1841 and 1851?

If so, can you tell me how to do it please!

    Many thanks

Not on Ancestry (except for 1881). You can do 1841 and 1851 address searches on Findmypast.

But there are free street indexes for 1841 and 1851 provided by the National Archives. These will give you the piece/folio reference, which you can enter on Ancestry's search page.

... and also on the Genealogist but sometimes their house numbering is a bit suspect!
