Default Frederick T Shaw 1903 Chesterfield

    Hi all,

I am trying to find the parents/siblings of Frederick T Shaw born March 1903 registered at Chesterfield.
He married 2/4 1927 in Chesterfield I have (with the help of another B-G er to whom I am truely grateful) his wife's name and her family from Wales which was quite a shock ! I always thought she was English but if I could find anything about him and his family it would be great.

any help as always gratefully received

The only reliable way to find out the names of his parents is to buy a copy of his birth certificate. His father is presumably named on his marriage certificate.
Once you know his parents, then you can look for his siblings. With such a common name as SHAW, it is false economy not to get the certificates.

If you have credits for the 1911 census there is
Frederick Thomas Shaw born 1903, age 8 and living in Chesterfield.

    Hi Yellabelly
I know this may sound funny, but have you been in contact with me about these? The Shaw's are well known in Clay Cross.
BTW, I am from there originally.
A second BTW, claycross.org.uk if you haven't been there.
    Good luck with them
