    Default 1901 Willenhall Staffs.

I have been unable to find my ARMSTRONG on the 1901 census at Willenhall.
I now know they were at 9 Peel Street, Willenhall in 1896 & family were still at that address in 1920.
Can anyone find William(1872) & Elizabeth(1874) Armstrong and possibly Thomas(1898) at that particular address.

    Many thanks

    Mitch

Have you tried RG13/2708 f93 p44 - Handsworth. It has
    William, aged 29.
    Eliza, aged 27 with
    Thomas B, aged 3
    Amy aged 1
    Florence, aged 1 month
(Mother-in-law Arabella Bright is also there).

Not the one Geoffers - the wife was a Truss.
Though I must say the ages are a very good match.
Thomas Bedford Armstrong was registered Mar qtr at Walsall.
Mine is the Thomas Armstrong registered Jun qtr at Wolverhampton.
    Thanks anyway for the try.

At 9 Peel St in 1901 no sign of any Armstrongs - it's a Grant family - Class: RG13; Piece: 2685; Folio: 93; Page: 21.

Thats corny but wonderful parkview - as it probably relates to this unconfirmed lot of mine that I can`t prove!!

It all seems to be falling into place nicely

    Many thanks

Sorry for the corniness - it was entirely unintentional - I completely forgot about your other thread and didn't connect them because of different names (tho did vaguely wonder why I had viewed the reocrd before!).

Anyway, it does seem to be starting to piece together.
