    HI Wendy, somehow we need to concentrate on finding the marriage dates of
    Joseph Martin.& Maria, George Martin.& Maria,& Robert Martin & Sophia. which might )with luck) show which ones couldn't be the parents, that's as long as they were married before having children of course!!

    CD SURREY MARRIAGES arriva yesterday. =
    George & Mary 11
    George & Maria -one- 1834 Kennington.
    Joseph & Maria -none.

    Robert Martin + Sophia Martin wed 11 may 1794 Shoreditch. I have copy of church record.She signed, he didn't.

    However MARIA + whoever, may have married (or not) out of SURREY. (oohaahh!). The Grinstead story is very big! I once looked at the IGI Pedigree file, but can't seem to access it now. I do have hardcopy somewhere.

    I only have so much room to store CDs & so many cents (sense? debatable) to go on a buying spree. Why didn't they all do the deed in KENT? Then you also get witnesses included which is a big help at times.
