Default Missing from 1871 Census - Turners

Hello from New Zealand. I'm new to these lists. Can anyone help me find my great grandparents in the 1871 England census please.

They are William Turner born Devon 1847 (Stockland or Honiton) and his wife Elizabeth (nee Mustoo) born Kington Langley, Wiltshire, 1833.

They are there in 1881 Kington Langley, and also in 1891 in Trowbridge.

They might have a daughter Emily with them, aged about 2 in 1871.

    Thanks.

    As indexed on Anc*:

William Ferner, 23, labourer, b.Heneten, Devon, England
Elizabeth Ference, 38, needlewoman, b. Kington, Langley, Wiltshire, England

    6 Stranges Court
    Civil Parish: Lyncombe and Widcombe
    Class: RG10; Piece: 2483; Folio: 59; Page: 13

    No Emily in the household.

    Default Thank you so much!

Adele, I hadn't even left my computer when your reply came through! I can't believe this, neither I nor my 2nd cousin in England could trace this in spite of wildcard searches. This is definitely the people we are looking for. I guess this isn't the place for tutorials but can you tell me what search criteria turned this one up please?

First time I've used these lists, what a great response. Huge gratitude!

    Lesley,
I'm pleased to have been able to help! When I searched, I ignored the last name.

    Given name: Eli*
    Birth year: 1833 +/- 5 years
    Birth county: Wilt*
    Birth parish or place: King*
    Spouse's given name: Wil*

This search gave 5 results, of which Elizabeth Ference was at the top of the list.

    Cheers,
    Adele
