hello people
I hope with luck somebody could help in my quest
I have long been researching my Name sage "Searing" indeed with much help from this very site but I have now come to a brickwall wall or a mystery.
I researched my Grt grt grt granfather William Searing he died in/at the "Pheasant Beerhous" which in 1871 was sited along College raod in Cheshunt, I have now believe that it is now called the Crocodile but hey !!!
Believing that he "Willimam" died in 1871 and would have been intered at "St.Marys" or Bury green Cemetery (this was opened in 1855) was happy to undertake a search but as yet after going through countless registers and paperwaork I am unable to find my man.
I searched through records at Bury Green and also St.Marys the Virgin and althoug I have discovered many "Searing" which lay in Bury Green there is little or nothing at St.Marys.
so where is he buried?
am I loosing it or am I missing something
can anybody throw a light on my William.
thanks to you all
Paul
