been trying to find my grandfathers medal index card ive looked on
TNA but cant find anything his name was John Langley born 1889 smethwick
staffordshire
joined royal navy 1907 service number SS105338
transfered to R.F.R in 1912 -1919 re enrolled 1919 discharged 1927
i have his service record and he was awarded LS&GC medal but cant see
anything else could anyone please help me thanks

Hi Mick
I'm afraid that the medals awarded to the RN are not yet available online. What you have been searching is those WW1 medals awarded to the Army. To find RN medals you have to go to the NA and look at the ADM 171 series of documents.
